Guess what they do not have any secrets. There is no secret society. There is however one thing that MLM leaders do share. There mind-set will always share a common entrepreneurial spirit.
So how did they get there?
Number one factor and this is most critical. They treat their companies like a job. This is how they earn their living.
They don't consider their business to be a hobby or something that they joined on a whim.
They're entrepreneurs. They take their businesses very seriously. It is not part-time thing although you may never see the work they put in behind the scene. Real leaders do not look upon it as a pastime.
They understand that by investing their time and money into their business even though they may have only invested a couple of hundred bucks to get started. MLM leaders start at the beginning with a goal under consideration. They know exactly where they're going and have plans to get there and how they plan to earn a big income.
They have the entrepreneurial perspective. That is a significant part of it. Top MLM leaders work hard. They never give up. They may “work from home” but they do indeed work. They know success doesn’t happen overnight.
MLM leaders are tenacious and work very hard and do whatever is important to achieve the success they want. These entrepreneurs start their businesses with a plan under consideration. They set out with goals and they work steadily toward those goal.
Their goals are practical. They understand that setting impractical goals can only end in disgruntlement and failure.
The heavy hitters in the MLM industry have taken years in some cases to build their companies to where they are right now. Some of them could have failed at the start but because they have the entrepreneurial spirit. They started over knowing that they will succeed. They have a positive outlook. They like long chances. They learn from their mistakes.
They may give the illusion they do nothing except the actuality is most top income earners have a simply put in more hours and have more to show to more people than those who are still fighting to earn money in the business.
The most successful leaders in the business understand that sponsoring and hiring is the fundamental way to earn money, consequently they can spend 80 to 90% of their time sponsoring and hiring.
That is the whole MLM business structure.
You get paid for selling things. There's only a certain amount product you can sell yourself so by having a giant team of distributors underneath you whom are also selling stuff. You are leveraging those other people's time to your benefit.
So are you serious about becoming a MLM leader?
Here are a couple of things you need to consider:
- Are you willing to invest 3-5 years to build your business?
- Are you content to schedule time every day to move your business forward?
- Have you got a destination in mind? Goals?
- How about a written plan of action?
How do you propose to promote the products, service and business opportunity while training your new team to do the same?
What will you do if the economy takes a dip or your company shuts their doors? What's your plan B?
The true MLM leaders are the entrepreneurs who will expand a business at all cost. The word failure is not in their dictionary. They understand that promoting is the most significant aspect of success. They present and promote their business opportunity every day, each week, and may have planned a schedule for a year ahead.
